Our aim
Training children in the ways of the Lord
Since 1981 we have had the privilege and the responsibility of ministering through El Vista Baptist Academy. Deuteronomy 6:4ff and Ephesians 6:4 positively declare the Christian's duty to train our children in the ways of the Lord. Psalm 1 declares the negative — that we are not to walk in the counsel of the ungodly.
The academy opened in the fall of 1981 during the ministry of Pastor Thompson and Bro. Tom Schlich. We are thankful for the opportunity to minister to families through it. We have students from K4 through high school using both the Abeka and Accelerated Christian Education programs. Pray for the new year, please, and give as the Lord enables you.
